Situation-  

Imagine it is the year 2025, you finished your undergraduate degree about ten years ago and in that time, a lot has happened, some good things, some bad. Write a short essay about a typical workday that you can imagine for yourself in the year 2025. 

Background- 

A lot of change will happen in 2025. There will be no physical workplace only virtual workplace exists. Mode of transportation will be totally changed, first of all there will be service of sky bus in all over city. Secondly, there will be no need of travelling because men can be present at desired location through virtual 3d projector such as in corporate meeting.
I am writing this essay, assuming to be living in 2050 and spending a typical workday with the help of advance technology. Style of writing is dairy writing addressing to myself

What a lovely morning to start the day! a Monday morning with slight rain outside. Being an IT expert, I start my day in my virtual office in US dealing with client of Europe. Physical boundary has no limitation in today world because in one quarter of day I can travel the whole world and satisfy the entire client through the virtual conference and meeting. If I have to travel a little bit for my pleasure or urgent work there is superfast sky bus service.

The disadvantage of this busy life style and presence of unnecessary super flow information has lead to birth of several diseases in average working population related to hypertension, insomnia. I protected myself from these diseases through a secret knowledge of breathing control exercise “Yoga”. 

Globalization has affected the every field that my IT field is totally a cross-cultural field, as I have to deal the person of varied background. Technology such as GPS has helped a lot to pin point everything on the earth with utmost accuracy.
The development in the technology is good for my job growth because in IT field there is technology growth to prevent the economic related to hacking and spamming. However, developing technology development has lead to some challenges also in my IT field. 

The major development will happen in “Cloud” environment technology. The “cloud” will become more intelligent, not just a place to store data—Cloud intelligence will evolve into becoming an active resource in our daily lives, providing analysis and contextual advice. Virtual agents could, for example, design your family’s weekly menu based on everyone’s health profiles, fitness goals, and taste preferences.


The smart phones have scheduled the whole scenario of my life; I plan the whole day with keeping reminder of important events. The smart phones have changed our political system also because now we can vote through electoral vote on smart phone. We can also talk to our representative through Skype and register our complain on any issue though government applications. Society changes a lot because now people are more dependent on the technology rather on one another. 80 percent of times, human are actively surrounded through technology in form of social networks sites and virtual presence. Medical science has also improved a lot and the longevity of the people in the society has improved a lot in comparison to 2014. 

The mode of transport has also improved a lot now the non renewable resources such as petrol has been totally replaced from the evergreen green technology of renewable resources including solar and wind energy. The power distribution will be also wireless and the building design especially the workplace is made in energy efficient way.


Every development has counterpart so in this age also the chances of identity theft and economic frauds becomes more common in comparison to previous generation. Technology development has provided a tools in the hands of frauds now they are capable of doing a perfect crime which is almost impossible to trace. International terrorism has also adopted the means of virtual attack such as jamming the country economic transaction.

Despite of such potential problem I am enjoying the life and hoping that making will prosper in near future. This thinking pattern gives me the energy to start the everyday with enthusiasm. I learnt from my experience that material wealth gives you pleasure for some time but it is your spiritual growth in life, which provides you the necessary stability.
I complete my workday with the hope that next day will be better than our present day. The positive thinking and hard work is the key to success. Technology growth has both side positive and negative side.
