Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 pro Launch In India

 The prices of Xiaomi Redmi 6 A  starts at Rs  5, 999, and Redmi 06 starts at Rs 6,799. Today Xiaomi launched three Redmi 6 series smartphones in India. The Redmi 6Awhich is similar to the previous generation's best-selling smartphone, Redmi 5A. The Redmi 6 is the successor to Redmi 5 and its 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage version starts at Rs 7,999. This time, the Redmi 6A will come only with 2 GB of RAM, while Redmi 6 will have 3 GB of RAM, although the internal storage varies according to the version.

If we talk about design, there are lots of similarities between both the Xiaomi phones, but there are many differences between both phones internally. For Xiaomi Redmi 6A and Redmi 6, Qualcomm Snapdragon has been replaced by MediaTek Helio 12 nm chipsets, in accordance with available devices in China. Lookwise both Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 look the same. Both devices have 5.45-inch HD + display, which has an 18: 9 aspect ratio and 720 × 1440 pixels resolution. With 80.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, Xiaomi has achieved a good compact form factor for the phone. Behind the design, equality continues, but with minor changes. Redmi 6A does not get fingerprint sensor like its predecessor, but there is a fingerprint sensor in Redmi 6 and it comes back with a dual camera setup. The Both phones can really handle multitasking in a really good way as per seeing their specification on paper. Xiaomi has launched with MIUI 9.6, but they will soon do up-gradation of MIUI 10.


Redmi 6A comes in 2 GB / 16GB and 2 GB / 32GB in two types. On the other hand, Redmi packs 3 GB RAM with 6 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options. Xiaomi has a 3 (2 + 1) slot option standard in both smartphones. These come with a MicroSD card slot now with two dedicated nano-SIM card slots. MicroSD card can be extended up to 256 GB. Under the hood, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A are slightly different. Budget 6 comes with MediaTek quad-core SOC which is called Helio A22, while 6 gets Octa-core Helio P22 chipset. Both of them meet different sector of person requirement in India, even if the price difference is between Redmi 6 A higher and the lower version of Redmi 6 is only 1000 rupees.

In terms of Camera Redmi 6 is a completely different device. It has a dual-rear camera with a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel lens 1.25-micron pixel. Xiaomi has claimed that it has taken advantage of artificial intelligence (AI), and it has features like AI Portrait, which is essentially a Bokay / Blur effect for your images. Budget Xiaomi Redmi  6A offers a 13-megapixel single rear camera with PDAF, EIS and F / 2.2 aperture. In the front, both devices pack a 5-megapixel selfie camera such as AI portrait and more.

Special note for Redmi 6 Pro


Notch gets the entry in the budget section. One of the most important changes to come with Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is the arrival of Notch to a sub-Rs 11,000 devices. However, this is not the first budget device with a Notch, and that crown goes on to the recently launched Realm 2. The top and bottom of the back are made of plastic. It comes with IR Blaster to control various things, and the 3.5-mm audio jack is still present.  The company added the rear metal sheet with the fingerprint scanner. The back finger is print scanner. Finally, the volume rocker and the power button are located on the right, while the SIM tray is on the left side.
