Introduction

Oppo has created its sub-brand Real Me keeping target to Xiaomi. With the launch of the RealMe1 company got the attention of the public and now with RealMe 2, it's going to stir the whole Xiaomi dominated market.

Real me has introduced its second smartphone in India, dubbed as Realme 2. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM and Rs 10,990 for the 4GB RAM variant. The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting from September 04, 2018.

Design-

Realme 2 has a glossy design with matte-finish metal body sandwiched between a 2.5D front glass and a glass back. The phone weighs around 168 grams and its dimensions (in mm) are 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 (height x width x thickness).

Display

The top-notch on the Realme 2 provides a better screen-to-ratio as compared to its predecessor. The phone has the larger 6.2-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, gives a pixel density of 271ppi and an aspect ratio of 19:9.

Battery back up

Realme 2 has decent battery backup thanks to 4230mAh. Under normal usage pattern, the phone manages full one day due to the AI Power Manager. The phones came with inbuilt with app-freezing power saver and quick app freezing option that manages background apps to deliver some good battery backup.


 Camera

The major highlight of Realme 2 is indeed the cameras. The phone employs a dual-camera setup at the back that comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 2-megapixel shooter with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, you get an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture.


User interface

 The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, not the stock android but on ColorOS 5.0. The main feature of the interface is AI board which can be accessed for the intelligent use the function like saving battery and RAM allocation to various applications. There is a lot of customization options also available.


Gaming


The phone is able to handle the normal game with like Subway Surfer, Temple Run 2. But if we play high-end games like PUBG Mobile, which is the modern-day standard for the performance we found it some frame drop and laggy at the same time.
